- Commercial grade thatch is woven with tight knots
- Palapas are made for shade
- It is normal for the wood to split and crack
- Palapas are flammable. If palapas are used for commercial purposes they do require fire
retardant. Palapas used for residential us do not require fire retardant. Please use common sense
- In some climates fronds may change color to a golden brown.
- Palapas will withstand very high winds (the thatch allows air to flow through).
The 150lb base provides stability.
- To create your own look you can stain poles, add extra rope, tile the table top etc..
